I've lived here for two years now.  There are many reasons I live here and no where else.  The layout of the apartment is perfect for me.  They feel comfortable and home-like.  Everything from the carpet to the cupboards reminds me of what you would expect in a nice house.  Many of the other complexes in the area feel like oversized dorms and look like cheap, old places - even the ones that are as new or newer than University Commons.  I felt like it was a new apartment when I moved in and was witness to the effort that the management puts into keeping the appearance up between leasing years.  The bathrooms are large and have ACTUAL tubs.  The closets are ridiculously large.  The patios are also nice.  Each bedroom has a window that actually opens.  This seems natural but one of the other large complexes near campus has windows that do not open.  I also really enjoy the freedom from the dorms, yet we were right next to campus.  The amenities are great with free tanning and a hot tub and grill for my girlfriends and I to enjoy after a long day of school.  I chose to live here for many of these reasons, but I chose to stay because once I moved into University Commons, they continued to exceed my expectations.
